North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs Central

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a big 71-11 win over the Central Eagles.

The Cardinals (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, North Stanly smashed College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 52-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hartsville Red Foxes (Hartsville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Central will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Red Foxes come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 53-11 non-league win over Lamar (Lamar, SC).
