The The Covenant Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Collegiate Cougars to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Covenant will confront a Patriots team coming off a 67-29 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Collegiate falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA) to confront the Royals in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Royals go into the game with a record of 0-3.
