Alaska High School Basketball - El Capitan holds off West Anchorage

The El Capitan Gauchos basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host West Anchorage Eagles to 53 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gauchos now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kamehameha Kapalama for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21.

With the loss, West Anchorage falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Golden Bears in a 4A Cook Inlet game on Monday, January 6. The Golden Bears go into the game with a record of 2-1.
