The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights to 53 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Davie for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 62-47 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Lake Norman Charter falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 7-3. West Cabarrus won 59-53 in their recent league game against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
