The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights defeated the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions basketball squad by a final score of 64-47 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Knights clash with the Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 21. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Overland (Aurora, CO).

The Mountain Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Boise, ID). The Patriots come into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Centennial overcame Jordan (Sandy, UT), 51-36, in a non-league outing.
