Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McDowell triumphant over St. Augustine
December 20, 2024: Erie, PA 16506 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) and the visiting St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX), observed McDowell's basketball team overwhelm St. Augustine by a score of 40-16.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ossining (Ossining, NY). The Pride come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Ossining was routed by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 60-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. St. Augustine will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
