The Vanguard Knights basketball squad (Ocala, FL), was crushed 49-19 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL)

With the victory, West Port advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Wolf Pack travel to North Florida Educational Institute (Jacksonville, FL) to meet the Fighting Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Fighting Eagles enter the battle with a record of 4-6. North Florida Educational Institute won 58-46 in their recent non-league battle against Creekside (St. Johns, FL)

The Knights now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Weir for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. Vanguard will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 45-20 league loss to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-8.
