December 20, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27533 The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) basketball edged the host Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC), 57-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Wallace-Rose Hill will play a Stallions team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Goldsboro falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to play the Bruins in a non-league outing on Friday, January 10. The Bruins enter the outing with a record of 1-5.
