The Lakewood Gators basketball team (Sumter, SC), was toppled 49-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC)

The Gators now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forsyth Country Day for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Goose Creek will confront a Furies team coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC). The Furies record now stands at 11-3.

The Gators (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson (Florence, SC). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Wilson thwarted Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA), 70-44, in a non-league outing.
