December 21, 2022: Lake Charles, LA 70601 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wright (New Orleans, LA) and the host St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA), saw Wright's basketball squad hold off St. Louis Catholic by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Wright improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. South Plaquemines lost 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA)
Next up, the Saints play the Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. St. Louis Catholic will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
