Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 60-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Seneca Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Screamin' Eagles travel to Northwest (Germantown, MD) to play the Jaguars in a Montgomery County - 4A/3A West bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Northwest lost 54-23 in their recent league bout against Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD)

Next up, the Trojans play the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery County - 4A West bout, on Monday, January 9. Gaithersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
