Ohio High School Basketball - Hillsboro tops Batavia
December 21, 2023: Batavia, OH 45103 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) and the host Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, OH), saw Hillsboro's basketball squad knock off Batavia by a tally of 63-44.
With the victory, Hillsboro improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to McClain (Greenfield, OH) to play the Tigers in a Frontier challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. McClain lost 43-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mariemont Warriors (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Batavia will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 53-39 league loss to Wyoming (Cincinnati, OH).
