Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lovelady Lions (Lovelady, TX), 50-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cushing upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Bearkats travel to Gary (Gary, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-11.
