Georgia High School Basketball - Stone Mountain knocked off by New Manchester
December 21, 2023: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 The New Manchester Jaguar basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Stone Mountain Pirates to 46 in the Jaguar non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguar now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. New Manchester will battle a Bears team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Bears record now stands at 7-5.
The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Walnut Grove was defeated by Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 59-56, in a non-league contest.
