December 21, 2023: Berea, KY 40403 The Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) basketball nipped the host Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), 38-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians go into the District 20 test with a 3-8 record.
The Pirates now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Somerset for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Berea will meet a Briar Jumpers team coming off a 69-44 non-league loss to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 0-8.
