The Downey Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Cerritos Dons to 48 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Imperial for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.

With the loss, Cerritos falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.
