Georgia High School Basketball - Gadsden City thwarts Douglas County
December 21, 2024: Douglasville, GA 30134 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gadsden City Titans (Gadsden, AL) and the host Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), observed Gadsden City's basketball team knock off Douglas County by a score of 63-54.
The Titans (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Aggies come into the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Douglas County will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
