In Saturday's non-league test, the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) basketball squad trounced the visiting Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders (Prosperity, WV), by a score of 70-48.

Next, the Black Eagles encounter the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State test, on Tuesday, January 14. South Charleston will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.

The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Lewis County bounced Winfield (Winfield, WV), 74-58, in a non-league test.
