Washington, DC High School Basketball - Maret holds off Takoma Academy
December 21, 2024: Washington, DC 20008 The Maret Frogs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Takoma Academy Tigers to 47 in the Frogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Frogs now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Seton Hall Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Maret will confront a Pirates team coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Takoma Academy falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host The Living Water School (Alexandria, VA) to confront the The Storm in a Maryland Independent game on Monday, December 30.
