New Mexico High School Basketball - Melrose can't get by Roswell
December 21, 2024: Melrose, NM 88124 Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM), 69-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Roswell advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Coyotes host Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-4. Mayfield lost 79-48 in their recent non-league match against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)
The Buffaloes now own a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14.
