In Saturday's non-league test, the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) basketball squad defeated the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), by a final score of 70-53.

Next, the Granite Bears clash with the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Mount Airy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 64-48 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Blackhawks (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 1-5 record.
