Tennessee High School Basketball - Abingdon nips Dobyns-Bennett
December 21, 2024: Kingsport, TN 37664 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Abingdon Falcons basketball team scored a close 44-38 win over the Dobyns-Bennett Indians.
The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Lord Botetourt edged Jackson County (McKee, KY), 68-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record.
