December 21, 2024: Pinson, AL 35126 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Clay-Chalkville Cougars basketball team scored a close 39-36 triumph over the Chelsea Hornets.
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Indians go into the 6A Area 12 contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Pinson Valley was tipped by Fultondale (Birmingham, AL), 48-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Chelsea will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 60-16 non-league win over Brewer (Somerville, AL).
