Colorado High School Basketball - Millennium nips Cherokee Trail

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) and the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), observed Millennium's basketball team edge Cherokee Trail by a score of 51-50.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Cherokee Trail will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 63-49 non-league win over Christ the King (Middle Village, NY).
