Mississippi High School Basketball - Independence fells Kirk Academy
December 21, 2024: Grenada, MS 38901 The Independence Wildcats basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Kirk Academy Raiders to 40 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Potts Camp for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Kirk Academy falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 11-4. Jackson Prep won 40-31 in their recent non-league game against Lanier (Jackson, MS)
