The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) and the host Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC), observed Legion Collegiate Academy's basketball team knock off Jackson Day by a score of 63-49.

The Lancers (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record.

In their next game, the Mariners battle the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Jackson Day will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 36-31 non-league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA).
