Maine High School Basketball - Nokomis thwarts Lewiston
December 21, 2024: Lewiston, ME 04240 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) and the host Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME), observed Nokomis's basketball team knock off Lewiston by a score of 52-39.
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Bulldogs come into the A North challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Lawrence prevailed over Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 62-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Lewiston will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).
