Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern overwhelms New Castle

December 21, 2024: Fountain City, IN 47341

The Northeastern Knights basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting New Castle Trojans to 27 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now have a 13-0 record. They play next when they host Shelbyville for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Northeastern will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 54-49 non-league win over Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, New Castle falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Wapahani (Selma, IN) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 11-1.
