California High School Basketball - San Bernardino tops Point Loma

December 22, 2022: San Diego, CA 92106

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA) and the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), saw San Bernardino's basketball squad knock off Point Loma by a tally of 59-50.

With the victory, San Bernardino improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 23. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Steele Canyon won 49-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Morse (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Pointers play the Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA).
