In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Norland Vikings basketball team scored a tight 40-33 triumph over the Palmetto Panthers.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 28. Norland will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 9-3 record after their 64-60 non-league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
