The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Mill Creek Hawks to 53 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langtree Charter for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Hawks (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Decatur (Decatur, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Decatur ran past Mays (Atlanta, GA), 50-49, in a non-league contest.
