North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek falls to Palisades

December 22, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28206

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Palisades Pumas basketball team scored a good 64-55 triumph over the Sugar Creek Wildcats.

In their next game, the Pumas meet the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 27. Palisades will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Mountaineers enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 77-73 league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).

With the defeat, Sugar Creek moves to 7-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to meet the Stallions in a 1A Metro 8 match on Friday, January 5. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 7-6. Queen's Grant won 85-59 in their recent non-league match against Grace Academy (Matthews, NC)
