Louisiana High School Basketball - East Iberville knocked off by Covington
December 23, 2023: Covington, LA 70433 The Covington Lions basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting East Iberville Tigers to 65 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amite for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Covington will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-63 non-league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.
The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 11-0 record.
