Ohio High School Basketball - Open Door Christian can't hold off Cuyahoga Heights
December 23, 2023: Elyria, OH 44035 The Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Open Door Christian Patriots to 48 in the Red Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Wolves now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckeye for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Cuyahoga Heights will battle a Bucks team coming off a 56-53 non-league loss to Norton (Norton, OH). The Bucks record now stands at 0-6.
The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Holland, OH). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Springfield was nudged by Ross (Fremont, OH), 48-37, in a league contest.
