Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam defeats Nestucca
December 23, 2024: Mill City, OR 97360 The Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) basketball were winner over the visiting Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR), 46-37 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crosshill Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Santiam will play a Eagles team coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Nestucca falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Taft (Lincoln City, OR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Taft won 58-43 in their recent league bout against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR)
