The Parkland Matadors basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was crushed 82-43 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM)

With the victory, Farmington advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-1. Hobbs won 74-35 in their recent non-league battle against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)

The Matadors now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. Parkland will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 53-44 non-league loss to Legacy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
