In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Hilton Head Prep Dolphins basketball team scored a good 47-32 win over the Hampton County Hurricanes.

The Dolphins (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, May River was topped by Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC), 44-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Hampton County will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
