The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) and the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), observed Lakewood's basketball team overcome River Bluff by a margin of 44-35.

The Gators (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA). The Razorbacks come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Cross Creek defeated Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC), 73-47, in a non-league challenge.
