In Thursday's non-league test, the Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), by a score of 52-41.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Highland will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 72-37 non-league loss to Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA).
