Texas High School Basketball - Sachse holds off Prestonwood Christian
December 26, 2024: Sachse, TX 75048 The Sachse Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Prestonwood Christian Lions to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wakeland for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Sachse will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Prestonwood Christian falls to 17-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Aledo (Aledo, TX) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 11-9. Aledo lost 46-24 in their recent non-league game against Pearland (Pearland, TX)
