The New Hanover Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Cox Mill Chargers to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Fear Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. New Hanover will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 56-34 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-2.

Next up, the Chargers play the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Cox Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Nighthawks come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 66-35 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
