Texas High School Basketball - Venus knocked off by Eustace
December 27, 2022: Eustace, TX 75124 The Eustace Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Venus Bulldogs to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Eustace will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-33 non-league win over Teague (Teague, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
The Bulldogs (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Kaufman ran past Wills Point (Wills Point, TX), 45-32, in a league contest.
