The Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) basketball knocked off the host Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA), 71-58 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Champions (9-2) will now prepare for their test against American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North notched a victory over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 76-50, in a non-league test.

The Normans now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hawthorne for a Ocean test on Monday, January 8.
