The Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) basketball knocked off the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 57-46 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Pasquotank County went down by Perquimans (Hertford, NC), 69-61, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Perquimans for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Currituck County will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 69-61 non-league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.
