Texas High School Basketball - Kopperl knocked off by Hico
December 27, 2023: Hico, TX 76457 The Hico Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Kopperl Eagles to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bynum for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Hico will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-40 non-league win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Meridian, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A Region III District 20 contest with a 6-5 record.
