Missouri High School Basketball - Hollister nips Pierce City
December 27, 2023: Hollister, MO 65672 Hollister Tigers (Hollister, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO), 41-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hollister upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Billings (Billings, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Billings won 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Wheaton (Wheaton, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lockwood Tigers (Lockwood, MO) in a Southwest bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Pierce City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 65-56 non-league loss to Rich Hill (Rich Hill, MO).
