In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Western Christian Fighting Lancers basketball team scored a tight 59-54 triumph over the Pomona Red Devils.

In their next game, the Fighting Lancers meet the Chino Hills Huskies (Chino Hills, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 28. Western Christian will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 76-34 non-league win over Montebello (Montebello, CA).
