December 27, 2023: Athens, AL 35613 The James Clemens Jets basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host East Limestone Indians to 36 in the Jets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Jets now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gulf Shores for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. James Clemens will battle a Dolphins team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Austin (Decatur, AL). The Dolphins record now stands at 15-4.
The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, St. John Paul II dropped by Brooks (Killen, AL), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
