The Spartans now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. Marian Catholic will battle a Steelmen team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 3-9.
The Bengals (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Proviso East trounced Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 37-36, in a non-league battle.
