The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball were winner over the host New Rochelle Huguenots (New Rochelle, NY), 57-48 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host James Madison for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Covenant Day will play a Warhawks team coming off a 62-39 non-league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 6-2.
